Recently, border patrol agents have adopted a practice of dragging tires along border fences to make it easier to identify footprints of unauthorized immigrants. This vigilanty mentality echoes that of the Texas rangers who took it upon themselves to lynch and murder thousands of innocent ethnic Mexicans between 1915-1919. In this print, the spirits of these victims are visible in the ground as they attempt to get rid of border patrol efforts.
